Giveaway Alert!!!!

Stopping by quickly to let you know about a fantabulous giveaway from Tina at a dog's life: GIVEAWAY times FOUR! Her blog is super inspiring, so hop on over and visit her and enter her mega generous giveaway while your at it!!!

Today's my mommy's birthday!!! Yay! Happy Birthday, Momsie!!!
Here's a quick lil' peek of my horrible wrapping skills- LOL!

I made that little tag in like 1minute--LOVE October Afternoon!!! I ordered an OA Santa Sack again this year and it was filled with yumminess, AND then I went to my "not so local" LSS which was having 40% off storewide sale yesterday and got a ton more OA goodies! I think I have an illness! So needless to say I think I'm good till next year on my OA fix! Well, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and were able to score some after Christmas scrappy deals, too! I know I went a little haywire in Target today! But, I'm still stalking them for the 75% off sale! Oh, my goodness I wish that I could be a lady of leisure and just spend my days snapping up bargains, scrapping, and getting"chocolate wasted"!!!! LMBO...oh and doing Zumba to fight the effects of the chocolate overdoses! LOL! Well, I've rambled enough...good day, I say good day!!! (oh and obviously if I were a lady of leisure I would watch a ton of movies, too) :P

Merry Christmas!!!!

Hope everyone's Christmas is Merry and Bright!!!! I had to make some cards in the wee hours of the morning and found a couple of fun places to play while I was at it....

This first card is based on the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches

Kept this really simple, especially since I was fighting to keep my peepers open at like 2am!!!

The next card is based on a sketch at Mojo Monday...

Also entering into:

Another simple card and notice I used another one of my lovely JCP buttons! I love those things and am kinda sad that the promo is over! :(   Well, I'll be hoarding a few of these, but think I may stop by there tomorrow and see if they'll give me some for my crafty endeavors! Well, I'm sitting here planning in my mind that I want to make my first vinyl project with my Cameo, but instead I just keep surfing the net...Hmmm...we'll see...Well, enjoy your Christmas- hope that is filled with family, friends, love and many blessings!

Merry Christmas!!!

Just like the rest of America, my heart is so heavy tonight with the thought of the babies and educators who were senselessly taken away today in Connecticut! I usually avoid the news because at work I see so many horrific things and try to avoid it when I'm off the clock, but tonight I'm sitting here watching the coverage and thinking...praying for the victims, their families and friends, and for America, and even more so...the World! There is nothing we can do to ease the pain at this time, but I saw this on Facebook and as scrapbookers, crafters, and memory keepers I thought I would share this here with you because I am definitely going to send cards and prayers to the school. The healing process is going to be a long hard road and this is the least I can do to show support and love. Please join me and spread the word!
Here is one of the first cards I've made:

Supplies: Sketch and Kit: Studio Calico; Stamp: Docerela Creations- Mix and Match II

And because this is so close to my heart since I have a little cousin and a niece who are both kindergartners and I have a child who is in elementary school I would like to invite you to leave me a link to any cards that you make and send to the school because I am offering a nice drawing of scrappy supplies for anyone who leaves a comment with a link to their post! I will try and post a pic of the RAK by the end of the weekend, but will leave this open for a couple of weeks...more deets soon! Please spread the word. Help let the  survivors  know that we are praying for them!  Thank you for allowing me to pour out my heart! Be blessed, Loves!
