Merry Christmas Eve Eve!!!!

Hello Lovelies,
Hope everyone is having a beautiful holiday season filled with love and craftiness! I'm just stopping by to share a little thank you/holiday card I made for a super sweet couple! I used Dante and Charlotte Chic from The Greeting Farm to represent the cute couple and love how sweet they look together even though I really, really, really need to work on coloring skin because they are so splotchy! But anyway, I don't think my card recipients will be that critical! :) I am also super proud that I actually used three sentiment stamps from three different stamp sets I purchased this month! Really trying to use my supplies and not just hoard them! :)

Entering this card into The Greeting Farm's Challenge- Christmas Wish. Used the Studio Calico Stamp sentiment that says "wishing you peace, love and a whole lot of joy joy joy"!!!

Well, I have a  couple of birthday cards to make and of course last minute Christmas stuff that I need to work on....so see ya later! Thanks for stopping by!

Sparkly Glittery Sunday!!!

Hello Beautiful People,
We have been iced in since Friday and I'm beginning to feel the effects of Cabin Fever!!!! Well, technically I was brave (aka dumb) and ventured out on Friday (otherwise we would have starved-LOL), but I have fingers so doubly crossed that this ice mess is gone by tonight so my boys can GO to school! OMGEEE! I love them, but gee whizz.....everyone gets a lil cray after being in the house too long! Anyway.... the weather has a postive though, it's a perfect time to get crafty!!!

My hubby asked me to make a card for his coworker so that everyone could sign it and then take it to the hospital. So, I started with one of my favorites- Angel Anya! She's so adorable! And then followed the sketch from Mojo Monday.

Also, had to play along with TGF challenge- All that Sparkles to use something sparkly. I used some sparkly paper behind my little angel and it's hard to see but there is a little bit of glitter on her wings too!
Well, heopefully I'll use my "iced-in" time wisely and craft a bit more! Have a beautiful Sunday!

TGF Cyber-Monday Celebration Hop

Hello & Happy Cyber Monday!!! I can't think of a better way to spend the day than with my favorite rubber stamp company-- The Greeting Farm!!!

I am so excited about this celebration and can't wait to hop along and be inspired! So, thank you for taking the time to hop over to my little bloggity blog!

I decided to make a Christmas card using one of my favorite boys - "Hello Ian"! I just love his hat and his little outfit- perfect for paper piecing! I'm a novice at coloring, so paper piecing is my go to technique for creating fun and colorful clothes for my little TGF cuties!

Supplies--Stamps: The Greeting Farm (Hello Ian), Docerela Creations (Snow Fun); Patterned Paper: Crate Paper, October Afternoon; Brads and Stickers: October Afternoon; Card Base and Glitter Tape: Recollections; Ink: Copics, Momento, Ranger

Well, I hope that you all are having a beautiful start to the holiday season!  I know that there are many more blogs to hop around to see on the The Greeting Farm Cyber-Monday Celebration. So, grab a mug of your favorite season drink (mmmm....salted carmel hot chocolate is my favorite) and enjoy the hop!

Thanks so much for visiting! Your next stop is Jane PJ!!!

Here is the Cyber-Monday Hop list in case you get lost....

Happy December Part Dos

Told ya I'd brb! Here's another card I made for the Hero Arts Holiday challenge. This time I took the part of the challenge that calls for using the Hero Arts Neon inks! I'm a total 80s girl, so neon is right up my ally! :) And, again I used the Christmas Snowman Hero Arts stamp set! I also opened up the box of Hero Arts -Just Tags that I purchased earlier this year! I'm elated right now...after months of not really crafting...I've got my Christmas music cranked up and I'm playing with some of my favorite crafty goodies! Happy Sunday, lovelies!

Happy December!!!

Hello,

It's been quite a while since I've dusted off my bloggity blog. Well, I hope that December will change that since I have so many plans to make sure I get the most out of this month creatively and in so many other ways, too. I picked up a couple of new Hero Arts stamp sets last night at Michaels for BOGO...woot woot!
Snowman Christmas picture

and this one too...

Year Round Sentiments picture
I came across a fab challenge at Hero Arts blog so in keeping with my theme this month (use it or loose it) I've already broken the seal on "Snowman Christmas" to play along! Here's a quick little card I made..

I started out with the Retrosketch #92

Then following my theme I picked up a piece of scrap Heidi Swapp resist paper and stamped the adorable little snow man on it because part of the challenge is to use your favorite stamping technique. I love the resist tech.  Its's a somewhat grungy and messy little card, but it was fun to make. Hmmm....now I think I'm off to play with my Neon inks....I'll be back....

Well, I'll tell you more about that in a future post, but for today...I want to share a super late birthday card that I made for an amazing young lady! Mani Pedi Mishaps!!!

Hello, Happy Friday Eve!!!!  I am so happy that this week is almost drawing to an end because this weekend my hubby and I are going to get manicures and pedicures!!!! Woot Woot! I know most of my friends and family treat themselves to these like weekly or biweekly, but for me it's a treat because I'd rather spend my pennies on tangible items- Like ummmm... Scrapbook supplies!!!! LOL! So in anticipation of the treat I decided to make a little card to sit on our mail desk ...just in case the hubs tries to back out of our appointment....and trust me we both need it!!! LOL!

Anyway, I used the super awesome New Release stamp set Spa Time from Docerela Creations! Totally love this set because it's just so versatile! You can create gift cards, backgrounds, journal, make cards, use the words on layouts....and on and on!!! Check out my journal entry using this great set and the current "gift" challenge HERE!!!

Ok, So here's my card! Oh, and can you spot the mistake I'm talking about and why I think it's fun?
Drumroll.....well, if you guessed the random black ink smudges on her hair and face--- You are correct!  So what had happened was....LOL! She was colored and ready to go, but I picked her up with my messy inky fingers!!! Boo! But, then I thought it was kind of fun because the saying is "Pamper me Pretty" since she is ugly from the dirt and grime of a hard week!!! Am, I digging to deep? LOL! What can I say....I'm only child so my imagination is HUGE!!!! Anyway, just thought you'd all get a little laugh about that! So once again, another reason why this stamp set is AWESOME--without that sentiment I could not have salvaged my smudged cutie pie! LOL!

Alright, I need to go study now, so please have a fun, safe, relaxing weekend! And stop by and join the challenge at Docerela Creations!!! Take Care!

Hope everyone is having a beautiful Father's Day. I'm just stopping by today to share a little card with you! I'm participating in a card swap and need to make 6 kids birthday cards! Of course, you know what that means...have to get out my fav Docerela Creations sentiment stamps and TFG image stamps out to play! Woot! So here's my first card. I was actually looking for this basketball texture paper that I have to use instead of the green snake skin, but that's what happens when you have too much stuff...sometimes things get lost! I have no idea where that sheet of paper is, but I'm sure it will show up at some point. And because it's bothering me- I'm happy that Hobby Lobby is closed today otherwise I know I would have gone out and bought another sheet- LOL!

I used this weeks Freshly Made Sketch as the starting point for my card...

Supplies: Card Base: The Paper Studio; Stamps: Docerela Creations- Birthday Wishes, The Greeting Farm; Patterned Paper: The Paper Studio, Creating Keepsakes; Veneer: Studio Calico; Color: Copics
