More Mother's Day Cards

Hello Friends! Thanks so much for stopping by today! Before I share my projects I want to remind you to play along with our Flower Challenge at Docerela Creations- HERE!!!

Remember the other day when I said I had a few Mother's Day cards to make to send off to have them given out to the lovely ladies at a nursing home? Well, here are the other 3 cards I made.....The sentiments on all of these cards are from Docerela Creations newest release- Wonderful Mother! This set made making Mother's Day cards so much easier because they were all in one set and so versatile! They stamp beautifully with ink and embossing powder!

For this first card I used a sketch #61 from Retro Sketches Challenge and I used the Heidi Swapp's Sugar Chic paper pad along with a flower and butterfly from my stash.

For card two, I used sketch #99 from Deconstructed Sketches and again used the Sugar Chic line and a cute little TGF stamp!

And for the final card I just went plain and simple. A cute little TGF stamp and some washi tape. Oh, and of course the supercute sentiment from Docerela Creations!
Well, I've got to get these in the mail in the morning! Thanks so much for visiting!

Mother's Day is just days away....

Hello Friends! Thanks so much for stopping by today! Before I share my project I want to remind you to play along with our Flower Challenge at Docerela Creations- HERE!!!

So, I mentioned that I have several projects to complete this weekend and this one is one that's near to my heart! In one of the groups that I am a member of another member asked if we would make Mothers Day cards so that she could give them out to the women at her mother's nursing home facility! I cherish my grandmother who is still here and deeply miss my other grandmother who I lost earlier this month, so of course I had to contribute some cards because the thought of some of these sweet little ladies not receiving anything for Mother's Day just breaks my heart. So I've set a personal goal to make at least 4 cards for the ladies!

This is my first card for the ladies and I just had to use Docerela Creations newest release- Wonderful Mother because it has gorgeous sentiments just for special ladies! I love how well the stamps work with distress embossing powder! Simply awesome! And, I didn't plan it but the card also fits our current challenge at Docerela Creations- Flowers!!! So, I'm sure many of you are making cards for the special women in your life, so whether it's planned or accidental for you to use flowers be sure to link up your project for a chance to win a Docerela Creations stamp set!!! Alright....Here is my card:

I just love this stamp set and it works so perfectly along my favorite Ian image, too! I used a Sketch to start my card- Friday Sketch Challenge #42

Also entering the Following Challenges:
TGF-Double Take Tuesday- Earth Day
TGF- Farm Fresh Friday- Use Flowers
Simon Says Stamp -Anything Goes

Hello Weekend- I'm so glad you're here!!!

Howdy folks! Oh, my beloved weekend is finally here! I have major plans to get some crafting done because I have several projects that I've taken on that need to be completed. Oh, and speaking of crafting....Have you entered the current "flowers" challenge at Docerela Creations- HERE? If not, what are you waiting for? Enjoy the weekend by getting crafty and linking up your projects!

Today I'm sharing an impromptu project that I had to do last night. My son's trainer made all of the players little goodie bags decorated so cutely with their names and baseball stickers and everything. He was so appreciative and thankful that he asked me to make her a basket, (ASAP of course) AND he wanted to give it to her today! So how could I say No, when first I'm so happy to see him want to show his gratitude and also honored that he would ask his crafty little mama to make something! LOL! It just makes my heart smile to know that my kiddos appreciate my love of crafting! So I had grand plans to pull out my Cameo and make an awesome personalized vinyl project, but time and my addiction to " inspiration surfing" LOL did not permit me to do exactly what I had mapped out in my head! :) But, I did make this card and decorated a little bin with her name and filled it with goodies:

Supplies:
Sketch
Patterned Paper: Teresa Collins: Stamp; LaLa Land Crafts, American Crafts, StudioL3; Washi: Recollections: Inks/Colors: Copics, Sharpies, Momento. Prima Chalk Ink

Entering the following:
Simon Says Stamp and Show- Color (used Copics and Sharpies to color image)

Thanks so much for stopping by! Don't forget to play along with us at Docerela Creations- Flower Challenge!!!! I'll be back tomorrow with a Docerela Creations project!

Happy Monday....Let's Go Back to the Weekend!!!

***Click HERE to join us for the current Docerela Creations challenge- Mother's Day Project!***

Howdy, Ladies and Gents! I had some time to craft a little bit this past weekend and wanted to share with you!
First up...a card I made for my little cousin's birthday party yesterday! His party was absolutely fab- all decked out with TMNT Turtle Power!!!
Supplies: Patterned Paper; DCWV- Superhero & In the City; Stamps: Docerela Creations - Birthday Wishes, TPC Studio- Superhero; Chip Letters: Heidi Swapp; Printed TMNT from Google

I used a Mojo Monday Sketch but, of course it's called Mojo MONDAY, so I'm a day late to enter last weeks challenge! LOL!  Also entering into Simon Says Stamp Challenge- Birthday Challenge. But anyway my cousins enjoyed the card so that's all I need! :) And linking up to Simon Says Stamp birthday challenge! Oh and this photo that my cousin just sent me via text just nearly brought tears to my eyes...

My little 3 year old cousin posted the card I made for him on his bedroom wall with all of his party decorations (see it right above his headboard)! My goodness- I love that little man!!! Makes me so happy to know that he really appreciated and liked it!

Ok, next up is a card I made for one of my BFFs just because! I used a Freshly Made Sketches -sketch 80, which again, I'm too late to enter! LOL! I just have to laugh at my craziness!

Supplies:Patterned Paper: Heidi Swapp; Stamps: TGF, Mama Elephant; Colors: Copic, Sharpie

And finally, I'm actually on time to play with Retro Sketches!!! Woot! huh! Made this little birthday card early for my aunt!  Yay for being early with cards as opposed to making one minutes before the party! Umm...see above TMNT card! LOL! And another entry for Simon Says Stamp Birthday Challenge!
Supplies: Patterned Paper, Chipboard: Heidi Swapp; Stamp: Docerela Creations- Birthday Wishes set; Banner: Pink Paislee

Ok, that does it for my weekend of card fun! I have some cute new TGF stamps and Docerela Creations stamps to go play with until bedtime! Have a great week!
