Happy Friday Eve!!!!

Hey there! Well, I had megahugephenomenal plans to spend at least one entire day crafting during the long holiday weekend! And as usual, my beautiful plans were derailed by children who had other plans for me! Booo! So anyway, it has taken me 5 days to finish this little birthday card! I'm excited because I actually purchased my first ever Copic markers during a sale at Michael's last weekend even though i debated long and hard about returning them because they are so pricy and even with the sale I spent a ridiculous amount on "just markers"!  But oh well, I'm over it and just plan to add to them slowly by using the 50% coupons at Michaels! Oh so of course I have a lot to learn and first on my list is to invest in some Momento ink and higher quality paper so I won't have the ink bleeding and whatnot! Oh well, I still had fun playing and hope my little cousin will know that this was made with love! She's 6 so I'm sure she won't care that there are streaks, colors are bleeding, and that my shading and shadows are off, right? LOL!

Supplies: Patterned Paper: Studio Calico; Stamps: Docerela Creations- Favorite Quotes, Smash*it (SNEAK PEAK- stars and the words "smile" and "say cheese"), LaLa Land Crafts; Ribbon: Making Memories; Chipboard: Studio Calico; Stickers: Crate Paper; Ink: Copics, Hero Arts, Prima; Paper Bag: Whisker Graphics; Journaling Card: Sassafrass

Entering into the following challenges:

CPS- card sketch
Yumi and Fumi- Use a Sentiment
3GirlJam- Use Ribbon and Butterfly
Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog- Put a Stamp on It
Simon Says Stamp and Show- Read All About it or Stamp on It

Ok, well that does it for me tonight. I'm on my quest to do something crafty even if it's just a little something each day/night, so hopefully I will post and play along with different challenges this month! Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. This is super fun! Think of your copics as a future investment they last forever!
My downstairs a/c went out over the LONG weekend. It is still in the 105 here so we could not even go downstairs without breaking a sweat, so I was FORCED to stay in my nice, cool, craft room! LOL!
