12 Tags of 2012

Yes, I'm a Timster (a name I just made up for folks who LOVE Tim Holtz- LOL) even though you probably can't tell based on my scrapbook style which is kinda of all over the place. But never the less, I do love me some Tim Holtz! He is just amazing! So I was super excited when he announced the 12 Tags of 2012 because I can never seem to keep up with the 12 Tags of Christmas!  I rushed right out last week and luckily picked up the honeycomb paper that he used on his tag. Unfortunately, I could not get my hot little hands on the Valentine die and embossing folder so I improvised with his Bingo folder! I wish Tim/Sizzix would make the embossing folders longer to fit an entire tag from his Tag die set!!!! Hmm...perhaps I will email that suggestion- LOL!  Anywhoo...I went to a very fun crop today and met some ladies that are super sweet, generous, and crafty so of course there was more socializing than crafting, but thankfully I finished my tag and a card (all within 6 hours)!!!! Haha!
Anyway, here is my tag:

And, this is the card I made based on this weeks CPS sketch. I think I'm too late to enter the challenge, but hey...one more card down. I really need to build my card stash so I can just grab and go when I need one. I  wanted to kick myself for not having a wedding one ready for a bridal shower I went to this week...ugg paying $5 for a card at the store that I could have myself just chaps my hide!
