Project 12 June

My goodness this year is flying by and so is summer! I'm kind of sad that summer is winding down because that means that it's almost time for homework, football, and jam-packed schedules :(... But I'm so pleased that I have kept up with Project 12! This is something I hope to do for years to come....

Anyway, June was pretty relaxed and about the only two events we had were Ariyanna's pagent and wrapping up Ky's baseball season, so this month's project 12 sketch was perfect because I had like a handful of photos. I'm excited about July's Project 12 because there are lots of photos and I'll have lots of photos from Florida vacay to incorporate into the sketch!

Project 12 May

Since the day I received my June Scrapbook Circle kit in the mail I knew I wanted to use it to create my May project 12 layout. The majority of what I used is from the kit but of course pulled a few embellies, letters, and the the black and white Luxe paper from my stash. I'm so proud of my self for digging into the kit and not hoarding the Girls Paperie goodies. It is my goal, as I've mentioned before to really start using up my kits and not just hoarding them!

I used the Project 12 sketch, and of course, it was 2pages, but I think I'm starting to get a little bit more comfortable with these 2 pagers (finally). We had so many parties during May that there was no way I could only include 4 photos, so I made a "quasi" collage in photoshop (but the the funny thing is that all of the photos are from one party- which was my cousins Jeremy's super 17 and Tyler's sweet 16). Their party was extra-special because Tyler struggles with cystic fibrosis and has been fighting the disease tooth and nail since he was a baby. He is such a sweet, happy young man and I wanted to document his and his brother's party properly! So cheers to May---truely a month of celebrating life!

Project 12 April

Woohoo....I've been playing around with the project 12 sketch for weeks now, and last night I finally decided to go ahead and "git 'er done"!!! Yay! I really wish I knew how to sew, but for now my Hambly rubon stitching will have to do! I started off using my Studio Calico Quilting Bee kit and then started adding bits and pieces from one of my Create My Keepsake kits that's literally fully intact (yeah I'm a scrap hoarder because they closed a long time ago)!!! Anyway, then added some Cosmo Cricket letters and sticker. And I know the little robot dog is kinda outta place, but he's cute and goes with my color scheme! Thanks for stopping by....

Project 12- March 2010

I did a one pager for this month's LO because my computer has a virus and I can't do what Iwould like to do without access to my comuter. But I think once she's all better, I will do another March layout with the sketch. I used all stash products on this layout.

project 12- february 2010

I finally finished my Project 12 February layout AND since I'm feelin' so scrappy I should get started on March too...but something spectacular could happen between now and the end of the month that I want to include, so I'll wait {classic procrastinator reasoning!! LOL} Anway, here's what I did for February using the month's sketch...

I primarily used bits and pieces from my february studio calico kit (baker's dozen) and also used some new products (Dear Lizzy, My Little Yellow Bicycle, and Making Memories) and a few items from my stash. Even though I'm fallling behind with using up all of my stash, I'm happy to report that I am using my new products instead of hoarding them like I usually do!
