It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas….
Hi there! Hope your preparations for Christmas are coming along smoothly! I as always, am a Last Minute Lilly! LOL! But no worries, I trust that everything will come together nicely!
I made this card today based on The Greeting Farm's Fresh Friday Challenge-- use nontraditional colors on a Christmas card. I also based it on this week's card sketch at Studio Calico! Also entering this card into Simon Says stamp Wednesday Challenge- winter inspiration and their Monday challenge- anything goes.
AND….I'm so proud that I actually used my December SC card kit to make the card! Woot Woot for using supplies! This cute little Anya was dropped off at the post office this afternoon so she is well on her way to my friend who lives north of me! Woot! Well, thanks so much for stopping by and hope you have an awesome weekend and get all your last minute or loose ends tied up before the big day! YAY!

Cards, cards, cards….
Hello! Cheers to a new fresh week of craftiness and hopefully a lot of productivity thrown in there, too! This month I wanted to make sure that I really used my scrappy stash, so like a crazy woman I have signed up for 5 different swaps!!! Somehow my plan has semi worked---I've been using my stash, yet still shopping! It's a never ending cycle- what can I say? I'm a scrappy addict! BUT----on a positive note I received two new stamp sets last week and I have used both of them right away! For me that is unheard of because I like to hoard my new goodies for a while before using them, but in the sprit of trying to only buy things I'll really use- I went a head and inked up my new The Greeting Farm- "Twisted" kit and my new Pink Bow Ties "Social Media" set! I made this card for one of my swaps:
Entering in the Following Challenges:
Seize the Sketch (card based off this week's sketch)
The Greeting Farm- FFF (stripes or plaid)-- (acetate tag and little banner both have stripes)
Simon Says Stamp- Let's Be Clear- (acetate tag and clear Wink of Stella used on stamped images bow, bracelets and boots)
Cute Card Thursday-Pretty Papers Yep, Heidi Swapp papers are pretty darn cute!
Just Add Ink- color challenge (teal, pink, and brown)
Well, hope you have a rockin' week! I'll be back with more cards soon! :)

Well wishes...
Hello there! Just stopping by with a card I made for a friend's brother who's ill. For the past few weeks I've been making tons of girly projects with flowers and glitter, so it was challenging yet fun to leave all my girlie stuff to the side and make a masculine card! I started off with this weeks sketch from Mojo Monday
and kind of went from there….
and kind of went from there….
Supplies:
Patterend Paper: Heidi Swap
Stamps: The Greeting Farm- Nurse Anya;
Docerela Creations- Birthday Wishes ***love the versatility of these stamps- love the original sentiment "sending birthday wishes from across the miles", but since this is a get well card I just printed out "healing prayers" and instantly transformed it into a get well card!
Embellishments: from my stash
Also Entering:
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hopefully this will be my summer of "crafts" and that I will craft like crazy to get my stash under control. Well, who am I kidding? I don't think my stash will ever be under control, but at least I can feel good about actually using my stuff instead of just hoarding! :)
Happy Scrapping, Friends!

A new love----My Besties
Hello and happy beautiful Saturday and Mother's Day weekend!!!
Just wanted to come by and share a new find that I absolutely LOVE! Sherri Baldy's stamps called My Besties! They are absolutely adorable and it is my personal mission to collect all the ones with glasses! LOL! Well, I received my first couple of Besties in the mail this week and couldn't wait to play! This one is called Clever Chloe Sweet Geek and she's stinkin' cute!!! I don't know what's going on with the coloring of her hair, but it doesn't look that CrAzy in person…maybe it's the filter! Oh, well…still learning Copics but having a great time playing around! Made a little chunky bookmark to play along with the current 'anything but a card' challenge at Besties Challenge! Also entering Paper Issues current issue challenge- Mums the Word. Used spring colors and flowers for the mum the words challenge! I used Pink Paislee's line Hello Sunshine papers, stickers, and embellies that I received from Paper Issues a couple of weeks ago! Love this line! So proud of myself for digging in to new goodies instead of hoarding them! Yay! Hopefully, I'll keep creating throughout the weekend!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Happy Tuesday!
Hope everyone had a happy MLK Day! I sure did! I had a relaxing day of grabbing some of the new Heidi Swapp loveliness and creating a card right away! I started my card based on the current sketch challenge at Yumi and Fumi Handmade! Love the sketch and it also gave me a chance to open up a new heart circle die set I picked up on clearance, too! Woot! Here's the sketch:
Of course, if you've visited me before, you know I love The Greeting Farm stamps, so of course I had to play along with this week's FFF Challenge- Love is in the Air! And since I was in a playing mood, I also stopped by Mema's Crafts for her January Bingo Challenge.
I chose to go diagonal with:
Rubber stamp- TGF Dee Dee stamp
Punches or Dies- Spellbinders Heart Circles Die
FREE space
Bling or Pearls- Doodlebug Bling
Oh, and also I'm entering the Paper Issues-Just My Type Challenge since this a Valentine card!
So, after all that inspiration….Here's the card I made:
Well, thank you so much for stopping by today! Hope you have a fantastic week!

Cards, cards, and more cards!!!!
Hey there! I found another fun sketch to help complete my swap cards. This time it's from Mojo Monday:
I made two cards inspired by this sketch! Of course, I had to add banners! LOL! I love banners! And the card on the right is also for this weeks challenge at Anyone for Anya- use corrugated cardboard! Love the look of it and plus it's FREE- yep just cut a piece of cardboard from a shipping box and peeled back the layers! WOOT!!! Well, that's all for now! Happy Friday!!!

Happy ScrappyWeekend II
Hello Lovelies,
Just stopping by with another card for the swap that I'm participating in! This time I stopped by Artful Delight to be inspired by their card sketch challenge! I love the sketch because I interpreted the diagonal as a pocket…and I do love my pockets and tags! So here's the sketch:
Well, I really like this sketch, so I will definitely be placing it in my go- to- files! I have 5 more cards to make, so I'm sure I'll be back later to share! Actually, I may even make more because I'm having a great time and it's been a while since I've spent so much time crafting- feels good!

Happy Scrappy Weekend!!!
I'm participating in a swap with some online friends and, and The Greeting Farm's Friday Challenge was the perfect jump start to begin my cards! The challenge is to use bling so I used some cute little rhinestones to accentuate the sky!
Alright, I've got to crank out some more cards! Have a happy, scrappy weekend!!!

Merry Christmas Eve Eve!!!!
Hello Lovelies,
Hope everyone is having a beautiful holiday season filled with love and craftiness! I'm just stopping by to share a little thank you/holiday card I made for a super sweet couple! I used Dante and Charlotte Chic from The Greeting Farm to represent the cute couple and love how sweet they look together even though I really, really, really need to work on coloring skin because they are so splotchy! But anyway, I don't think my card recipients will be that critical! :) I am also super proud that I actually used three sentiment stamps from three different stamp sets I purchased this month! Really trying to use my supplies and not just hoard them! :)
Entering this card into The Greeting Farm's Challenge- Christmas Wish. Used the Studio Calico Stamp sentiment that says "wishing you peace, love and a whole lot of joy joy joy"!!!
Well, I have a couple of birthday cards to make and of course last minute Christmas stuff that I need to work on....so see ya later! Thanks for stopping by!

Sparkly Glittery Sunday!!!
Hello Beautiful People,
We have been iced in since Friday and I'm beginning to feel the effects of Cabin Fever!!!! Well, technically I was brave (aka dumb) and ventured out on Friday (otherwise we would have starved-LOL), but I have fingers so doubly crossed that this ice mess is gone by tonight so my boys can GO to school! OMGEEE! I love them, but gee whizz.....everyone gets a lil cray after being in the house too long! Anyway.... the weather has a postive though, it's a perfect time to get crafty!!!
My hubby asked me to make a card for his coworker so that everyone could sign it and then take it to the hospital. So, I started with one of my favorites- Angel Anya! She's so adorable! And then followed the sketch from Mojo Monday.
Also, had to play along with TGF challenge- All that Sparkles to use something sparkly. I used some sparkly paper behind my little angel and it's hard to see but there is a little bit of glitter on her wings too!
Well, heopefully I'll use my "iced-in" time wisely and craft a bit more! Have a beautiful Sunday!

TGF Cyber-Monday Celebration Hop
Hello & Happy Cyber Monday!!! I can't think of a better way to spend the day than with my favorite rubber stamp company-- The Greeting Farm!!!

I am so excited about this celebration and can't wait to hop along and be inspired! So, thank you for taking the time to hop over to my little bloggity blog!
I decided to make a Christmas card using one of my favorite boys - "Hello Ian"! I just love his hat and his little outfit- perfect for paper piecing! I'm a novice at coloring, so paper piecing is my go to technique for creating fun and colorful clothes for my little TGF cuties!
Supplies--Stamps: The Greeting Farm (Hello Ian), Docerela Creations (Snow Fun); Patterned Paper: Crate Paper, October Afternoon; Brads and Stickers: October Afternoon; Card Base and Glitter Tape: Recollections; Ink: Copics, Momento, Ranger
Well, I hope that you all are having a beautiful start to the holiday season! I know that there are many more blogs to hop around to see on the The Greeting Farm Cyber-Monday Celebration. So, grab a mug of your favorite season drink (mmmm....salted carmel hot chocolate is my favorite) and enjoy the hop!

Happy December Part Dos
Told ya I'd brb! Here's another card I made for the Hero Arts Holiday challenge. This time I took the part of the challenge that calls for using the Hero Arts Neon inks! I'm a total 80s girl, so neon is right up my ally! :) And, again I used the Christmas Snowman Hero Arts stamp set! I also opened up the box of Hero Arts -Just Tags that I purchased earlier this year! I'm elated right now...after months of not really crafting...I've got my Christmas music cranked up and I'm playing with some of my favorite crafty goodies! Happy Sunday, lovelies!
Happy December!!!
Hello,
It's been quite a while since I've dusted off my bloggity blog. Well, I hope that December will change that since I have so many plans to make sure I get the most out of this month creatively and in so many other ways, too. I picked up a couple of new Hero Arts stamp sets last night at Michaels for BOGO...woot woot!

and this one too...

I came across a fab challenge at Hero Arts blog so in keeping with my theme this month (use it or loose it) I've already broken the seal on "Snowman Christmas" to play along! Here's a quick little card I made..
I started out with the Retrosketch #92

Then following my theme I picked up a piece of scrap Heidi Swapp resist paper and stamped the adorable little snow man on it because part of the challenge is to use your favorite stamping technique. I love the resist tech. Its's a somewhat grungy and messy little card, but it was fun to make. Hmmm....now I think I'm off to play with my Neon inks....I'll be back....
